Hi, my name is Mr Saxby. I lead mathematics and am part of the Senior Leadership Team at a 1 form Primary School. I enjoy creating resources and have been uploading them to my own website for many years now. Due to ongoing costs, I am now slowly migrating all my resources to the tes site. Some of which will continue to be free while others will include a small fee. I hope you gain a greater work-life balance with my resources as teacher wellbeing has always been one of my highest priorities.

UPDATE - This update includes the new year 2 combined scores. 29.3.18 Please note a slight change in the year 2 results (autumn) due to further data predictions to this years SATs test. Remember these are only a guide and have proved very useful and accurate in our school. I have created an excel sheet to use as a whole school assessment for the NEW 2017/18 White Rose Maths assessment material. I work as part of the senior leadership team and lead mathematics. This is not perfect by any means but I have used previous SAT’s scores to inform my judgement. This is NOT to be taken as a pass fail assessment material. I found it useful to look at a glance to see children’s results. I also can note predict the next terms test scores but will update accordingly if they change :) I hope you find it useful too.

As part of my role as Maths coordinator and Senior Leadership Team I have created a White Rose Maths Assessment Grid. This is NOT perfect by any means and has been made for our school to help give us a glance at the results in Key Stage 2. Each result is inputted then a colour coded score is given. The scores are in relation to the National Curriculum pass mark and I have used my own judgement. This may help your school to gauge an overview of Key Stage 2 results. If you like this please leave a comment and I will attempt to make a Key Stage 1 sheet if needed. You can fit 34 children on here as that allows for a single A4 sheet. More lines for results can be added and the code for each grid copied.

*UPDATE* - Slideshow with timer! PowerPoint format - enjoy! *UPDATE* - Conjunctions and Connectives mat :) *UPDATE* - Up-levelling included in pack 2 :) *UPDATE* - Reading for sense mat At a recent EIP meeting it was discussed that children are to be trained to use edit stations. These have a positive impact on children to self check their work. Each station can be set up and the children rotate around the table or the paper is simply passed around. We use it at the end of a lesson, children have 4 minutes with each station then we pass on the paper to the next. Children are only allowed to edit what station they are on, for example if they are on the Capital letter station they are just looking through their work for capital letters. This can also be completed as a whole lesson. So far the pack includes capital letters, full stops and commas, spelling, inverted commas, sentence openers and apostrophes. Please note the section on the spelling part is for you to write topic words when laminated. I hope this helps you! It's been great in our class. Please let me know what you think in the your feedback.
